LinkedIn Bulk Search vs Wiza
Both tools start on LinkedIn data, but they answer different questions: Wiza gets you contact details out of LinkedIn; LinkedIn Bulk Search gets LinkedIn profiles into your spreadsheet. Here is the honest split, with sources.
GrowthToolz publishes this comparison. We make LinkedIn Bulk Search, one of the products covered here. Where our product is part of a comparison, we say so and link the sources behind every claim so you can check them.
The short answer
Pick Wiza if you're prospecting on LinkedIn or Sales Navigator and the output you need is verified emails and phone numbers, exported to a CSV or straight into your CRM. Real-time verification at the moment you request a contact is their core pitch.
Pick LinkedIn Bulk Search (that's us) if the list already exists in a Google Sheet - names and companies, or target companies - and the job is matching LinkedIn profiles back onto those rows to review. We don't find emails or phones, and we don't try to.
Side by side
| LinkedIn Bulk Search | Wiza | |
|---|---|---|
| Core job | Match names and companies you already have to LinkedIn profiles; search employees by company; discover companies by industry and location | Turn LinkedIn and Sales Navigator prospecting into verified emails and phone numbers, exported to CSV or CRM |
| Where it runs | Google Sheets sidebar only | Chrome extension on LinkedIn and Sales Navigator, plus their web app |
| LinkedIn account | Never required - matches against public search results | The extension works on top of LinkedIn and Sales Navigator, so you prospect from your own account |
| Email data | No | Yes - "verified emails", checked in real time at request (their claim) |
| Phone data | No | Yes - phone numbers on the Email + Phone plans and per-number pricing elsewhere |
| Review aid | Per-row match grade (High / Mid / Low) so you can reject weak matches | Real-time verification status on each contact (their claim) |
| Free tier | Free to install, with a usage allowance on every account - check the sidebar for yours | Free plan at $0: 20 valid emails and 5 phone numbers |
| Entry paid plan | Paid upgrades via Gumroad - see current terms | Starter at $49 per user per month (100 emails + 100 phones monthly); annual Email plan at $83 per user per month, billed $990/year, with unlimited email reveals |
| Export | Results land in the sheet you started from | Bulk export to CSV or directly to CRM; annual plans cap exports at 2,500 per month |
| Data model | Live search matches, graded for review | "850M+ contacts" verified on request - vendor-stated figure |
Where Wiza is ahead
- Contact data. Verified emails and phone numbers are the whole product. LinkedIn Bulk Search returns profile matches and context - no emails, no phones.
- Real-time verification. Wiza says it verifies each contact against live sources when you request it, instead of serving cached database rows. If that holds on your list, it directly attacks the stale-data problem.
- CRM export. Bulk export to CSV or directly into your CRM, with team analytics on paid plans. Our export story is: it's already in your spreadsheet.
- Unlimited reveals on annual plans. The annual Email and Email + Phone plans include unlimited email (or email + phone) reveals, which suits high-volume teams.
Where LinkedIn Bulk Search is the simpler fit
- Your list already exists. If names and companies are sitting in a sheet, Candidate Match fills in the profile column without a Chrome extension, an export, or a second tool.
- No LinkedIn account involved. The add-on never touches your LinkedIn login, so there is no account-restriction risk from using it. Tools that prospect through your LinkedIn session carry that risk by design.
- Built for review, not volume. Every row carries a match grade because these are search matches, not database records. The honest workflow is: run, review, delete the weak rows.
- Different question entirely. If you need to check who someone is, Wiza's emails and phones don't answer it; if you need to email someone, our profile matches don't answer that. Buy the tool for the question you actually have.
What we can't verify (and won't claim)
- Verification accuracy. "Verified" and "real-time" are Wiza's claims; we haven't run a controlled bounce or connect-rate test, and independent numbers in this category vary widely. Their free tier (20 emails, 5 phones) is the honest way to test on your own list.
- Database size. "850M+ contacts" is Wiza's own figure, stated on their homepage.
- Ratings. Wiza's site displays 4.6/5 on G2 and 4.8/5 on the Chrome Web Store (as shown on wiza.co when checked). Ratings move; check the live listings.
- Prices. Both products change pricing. The figures above are from the vendors' own pages on the date shown at the top.
Try the narrow job first
If your next task is matching a list of people or companies to LinkedIn profiles, install the add-on and run it on twenty rows. The review workflow - not the marketing page - is the comparison that matters.
